Channel Purpose: To show that God thru the Scriptures can
change lives ... for the better.

So what about the goal? For the present, I think a nice goal would
be to make the channel an environment where people can "show how
God thru the Scriptures can change lives ... for the better."

This would mean that people should be able to share their opinions
about the Scriptures without fearing that they will be banned or
warned that their views are not allowed.. this is where the purpose
of the channel is defeated with "tyrant" ops, who want to squash a
discussion based on content.

There is a fine line here when people share views that are considered
vulgar or offensive to others on the channel, and we've had to cross
this bridge on a number of issues.

Now we've also come to the other side of this coin, where people
should be able to share their opinions about the Scriptures without
having to endure harassment, ridicule, belittling, verbal abuse, etc.
from channel members.

To me.. these are two goals for the channel, and the rules should
reflect them, and the ops should help fulfill them.
